Emily Brooks

Emily Brooks is an attorney at the Khan Law Firm, Inc. Although newly admitted to practice law in California, she first started working at the firm in 2015 as a law clerk.
Education: Emily received bachelor’s degrees in Political Science, Spanish, and Latin American Studies from the University of Kansas and spent several undergraduate semesters studying abroad in Spain and Costa Rica. She went on to earn a law degree from American University’s Washington College of Law, where she participated in the International Human Rights & Immigration Law Clinic and completed an internship with the CAIR Coalition in Washington D.C., providing deportation defense to detained immigrants.
Areas of Legal Interest: Emily is skilled in handling all types of immigration cases, including family & employment-based visas, naturalization, asylum, and deportation defense.
Personal Interests: Outside the office, Emily enjoys spending time with her two inquisitive children, traveling, and exploring all that sunny Southern California has to offer.
